FAQ - Frequently Asked Question list - Answer

Question: What happens is that it stops at 75%, then after about 10 seconds the panel indicating 75% disappears? And it does not seem to be "trying" to do anything else. (The emails recovered start at 2005-01-01 and end at 25-07-25.)

Answer: Your .DBX file contains 75% of data and the rest of the file is filled with empty space. Your file was partially compacted by Outlook Express. Compaction wipes the information from the source dbx file, and its bytes become equal to 0 (zero). The software cannot recover anything from these zero bytes and it displays only 75% of recovery because the rest of the file is empty and there is nothing else to recover in it.
